US Market have been controlled by a time cycle, which started on May 19th 2008. It manifested its first strength on March 09, 2009. Then it made another manifestation on June 13th 2009 weekend by calling it a top. It got activated again on July 8th 2009, and then it crested on Jan 18th 2010. It again created a crest on April 26th and bottom on July 1st. It just completed similar time cycle on August 2nd/3rd, it had the probability of extending up-to Thursday/Friday. Market is on borrowed time. It is safer to be on side, start locking in profits for long positions and or look for shorting opportunities.
