US Is Repeating the Same Mistakes of Other Fallen Empires - Part 1

I commence with my gratitude to The Creator, The One Who Is All-Knower

I have kept my mouth shut. But I could not do any more. I owe it to this soil, which has helped me grow in all aspects of my life. And I see the same soil begging me to say something about those who are forcing her to her demise. I owe to this (used to be) land of opportunities.

Although, I have been of this opinion for last 10 years. But it is getting worst than I thought. Where I initially assumed that it would take longer for the US Superpower to collapse. But recent actions of The US Government, has not only confirmed my assumption, but it has reinforced that US has quickened and expedited the course to the Self-destruction.

Until 10 years ago, I could not stay more than 3-4 weeks away from the US, having to come back to my home. But it breaks my heart, seeing the place, whom I have always called my home for the most part of my life, is rushing to its ruins. Most saddening part is that not only the government, but the public, also, has been trapped into (by the help of sold-out media) this delusional state and grand illusion that "all is well".

Yes, many ways there are resemblances between USA and the ancient superpower of Rome. Americans as Romans believe in their own ingenuity, dominance and exceptionalism regardless of natural, social, or economics laws. Rome supposed that its civilization was the utmost possible achievement of the human race and that their way of life, thinking, government, and culture superseded anything had humans had before and will remain forever. Today, the government and people have the same outlook. All in the presence of, yet a very visible crumbling of the infrastructure, cities, persistent and unceasing deficits, and useless.

Evident decay of the Roman society was already detected during Severan Dynasty, where infrastructure and public buildings were falling into poor order, but it took 250 year when the system totally collapsed. I believe it is not possible for USA to maintain its superpower for that long, since the corrosion of the infrastructure, utilities, urban life and industries reached proportion that is not possible to overcome while the same time the country consume more than its produce. Long-drawn-out debt financing put every country into depression, no exemption. Rome had prolonged long lasting deficit with Persia, China, and India and its silver ended in exchange for luxurious goods from silk to mirrors. (Does it sound familiar?)

In the absence of reforming collapsing system and society, the
USA will succumb like any other powers in the past mostly due to domestic and (foreign, brought on due to the policies of the government) problems.

British already, in the 18th century, were aware that they were on a similar path of that of Fallen Empire of Rome, so they were mentally prepared when their empire fragmented in 1945. The beliefs in someone own supremacy really does not answer the problems that the USA and the Western world are facing.

All sensible thinkers are well aware that the decline is real. So as long the mainstream and the leadership will not realize that change is necessary for the survivor and without reforming the system to fit the social and economical disparities, I estimate that this great country will be gone in this century. In history, with exception of Rome, all countries could maintain 70-100 years of high level of internal and external development. If I count 84 years from 1945, the real turn will happen really quickly. Unless people will wake up and do something for the society to improve... things will run their likely and historical course.

Which I doubt is going to HAPPEN, AS IT WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO HAPPEN. "THEY" HAVE ALREADY DECIDED. They have their parachutes ready and they will disembark the sinking Titanic (ironically, which was also considered invincible)
